Earth
Tracks specializes in Nature Education and Outdoor Adventures. Our programs range from
multi-day
naturalist-led wilderness canoe trips to earth skills programs and
workshops
for people of all ages and experience levels. We
cover a
wide variety of topics related to
naturalist/tracking studies and Wilderness skills development that help
to
foster a deep connection to the Earth. We
strive to blend ancient and modern wisdom
through our teaching style and view nature as the ultimate
teacher. Our
classes and trips are small and
very focused, providing quality education and practical field
experience. Both
the curious beginner and
seasoned outdoors people will benefit from our programs and we are
equally
committed to both. We
have classes
suitable for adults as well as children and strive to create a
strong mentoring
experience for all participants.
By
learning from Nature through immersion and direct experience we begin
to see
and link the complexities and inter-relatedness of all things in the
natural
world. We also
begin to see the
important role that we all can play in protecting and preserving these
things
for the future generations. As
we
progress through this journey we move closer to walking the path of our
Vision
and living a life of balance and meaning, developing a deep sense of
connection
to the world around us.
At Earth
Tracks we help to guide people in learning how to live a life in close
relationship to the earth through quality education, mentoring and
direct
experience. We
invite you to come
and join us in this adventure.
"The
Earth is the ultimate provider and for countless generations our
ancestors knew how to survive and live in harmony with nature. By
learning and practicing these skills we begin to experience nature in
an ancient and meaningful way." ~ Alexis Burnett
